The Metropolitan Pavilion is an endlessly customizable space in the heart of Manhattan. We have rented all four floors of the building, and our craft vendors and sponsors will be on the ground floor, which has a capacity to serve 1500 people at a time. In a few months we’ll be launching a separate website for our open-to-the-public Laser Craft Market, and we’ll be heavily promoting the event locally.

Can I use my laser on-site?
No. Given the challenges of eye protection and ventilation, laser use on-site will be restricted to LightBurn staff and approved sponsors such as laser manufacturers.
Can I attend LBX classes while I run my booth?
No. Your ticket price does not include LBX access, and they are on different floors of the event space. So if you wish to do both, you'll need to purchase an attendee ticket for yourself and a vendor ticket for the people manning your booth. However, the recorded classes will be available a few months after LBX for video on demand.
Will I have access to a power outlet?
There will be multiple outlets throughout the event space, so power will be available somewhere nearby. However, we cannot guarantee an outlet will be as close as you might prefer.
Can I sell a laser product that wasn’t made using LightBurn?Yes. Although the event will feature plenty of branding showing it is hosted by LightBurn, we want to showcase the full range of amazing creations made with lasers.
Am I allowed to sell lasered weapons?
Sorry, no. We know many of our users work with weapons like guns, pocket knives, and axes, but due to local laws and venue restrictions, we can’t have any of these in the event space. If you’d like to showcase your work with these items, please feel free to bring photos.
Am I allowed to sell items containing divisive political messaging or offensive imagery?
In short, no. We recognize that this is an area where reasonable people might disagree, but please err on the side of caution. Anything that might start a heated discussion in mixed company, or that you wouldn’t want children to see, is out of bounds. If you’re unsure about something, you can contact us at sara@lightburnsoftware.com for approval.
Will there be food?
There will be concessions available for purchase at the event itself. The event space is in the heart of Manhattan, so there is endless variety — a Paradox of Food Choices all within walking distance and beyond.
Can I vend my table alone?
We really don't recommend that, and really - do you want to ask your neighbor to keep an eye on your booth every time you want to fetch a coffee or visit the restroom? Your vendor ticket comes with two people to run it. Use it.
